Our story
At Constantine Academy, we understand the struggles young players face. Getting into an academy is never easy, and for many, the path is full of obstacles and uncertainty. We also know how hard it is for parents to find a club that truly cares about their child’s growth, a place where the focus is on the player, not on business. That’s why Radu founded Constantine Academy.
Inspired by his own journey through injuries and setbacks, Radu wanted to create a space where every child, regardless of ability or background, could grow as a player and as a person.
Combining years of coaching experience with a degree in sport psychology, he built the academy with a focus on nurturing technical skills, mental strength, and personal growth, helping young athletes become confident, resilient, and well-rounded.
At Constantine Academy, football isn’t just about the game; it’s about support, opportunity, and helping every player believe in themselves.
Coaching Philosophy
Our sessions are developed based on the FA four-corner model, a holistic approach to player development.
This model helps us to identify and meet the needs required for player development.
Technical/Tactical
Focuses on a player's ball skills and game intelligence, including passing, dribbling, shooting, decision-making, and positional awareness
Physical
Focuses on the player's athletic capabilities, such as speed, agility, balance, and endurance.
Psychological
Addresses a player's mental resilience, confidence, concentration, and ability to handle pressure
Social
Focuses on player's interpersonal skills, including communication, teamwork, and leadership within the group
